wooltide people commissions

I have a lot of fun with my papermache figures. I have been working with papermache for the past couple of years and I have built up quite the little paper community. They are all made from old preread magazines. 

 

The photos you see here are all commissioned pieces of work. Each of them are handmade by me and are modelled from photos I have been given. These examples all have relevant words on them. (But please note - you can also order a commission without the words on them.) The words on the figures can vary from a favourite topic to a loved poem or song. I need photos to work from and a few details about the person to be made. They make a great present for a special event eg. birthday, anniversary, graduation or wedding. I have had very nice feedback from the recipients.

 

I do make every effort to capture the essence of the person in question however please remember that I am working with old magazines and the end result is a not going to be an exact replica of your beloved person! It is probably essential that the recipient has a sense of humour! :D
